Full & Partial Dentures

We all hope to have a beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime, so losing teeth and having to deal with the prospect of a wearing dentures can be challenging, to say the least. Like most people, a big part of the problem for you may be the belief that, by nature, dentures must be uncomfortable with an unnatural appearance.

Fortunately, some really innovative advances in dental materials and technology now make it possible to create dentures so natural-looking that no one will suspect they’re not your own teeth. Dr. J. Larry Brewer is highly experienced in all types of dental prosthetics, and he takes time to craft beautiful customized dentures that look as close to natural teeth as possible.

There are basically two types of dentures – partial and full. You may have just a few missing teeth, in which case we’d recommend partial dentures. If you’re missing all your teeth, we’ll use full dentures. We also offer dental implants that can be designed to hold your dentures securely in place.

Fully Customized Dentures

Until recently, dentures were pretty much one-size-fits-all. There wasn’t a lot of thought given to esthetics because they were designed to be functional but not necessarily attractive or realistic.

If you’re worried about living with a set of teeth that don’t look like they belong in your mouth, we’d like to put your worries to rest. In reality we've seen many of our patients' lives transformed by comfortable, attractive full and partial dentures.

We Create Beautiful, Natural-Looking Dentures

With skill and attention to detail, Dr. Brewer will fully customize your new dentures to enhance the shape of your face, your skin tone, and even the color of your eyes. We encourage you to be part of the process because it helps us better understand your needs and wants. We want you to be completely satisfied with the results, so we’ll create a wax try-in, which is basically a prototype of your new dentures.

Skilled technicians carefully place the artificial teeth one by one in an acrylic base. It may be a pleasant surprise to see how comfortable dentures can be when they’re made to your exact specifications!

Dental Implants Can Stabilize your Dentures

It’s true that modern dentures look and fit better than ever before, But some people still experience problems wearing dentures that don’t feel secure. This can cause discomfort and also make you feel self-conscious when eating and speaking.

Now we can eliminate these problems with implant-supported dentures. The implants act as anchors and provide an extra measure of strength and stability for the dentures that are attached to them. Implant dentures can be designed to be permanent or removable.
